The film packs are great! But please lose the borders, or at least make them optional! :)

Simple and beautiful results all the time. Give it an ability to adjust the position of an uploaded library photo to fit the square format AND change the shutter sound from the generic iPhone shutter to a realistic instant camera click will make this a 5 stars app. Thank you!

Working fine at first then keeps on quitting by itself. Nice app but pretty useless when it just force closes all the time.

It may be free but it barely works. And theres no way to send feedback within the app. I didnt notice anything novel to this photo app that isnt already in a bunch of others. That just made the choice to delete it easier.

You ruined a great app with this new UI

This version looks better but It cant compatible with my 3gs iphone :(

May be I am not the one who wants a camera UI so badly, thought I found the effects are different from the previous versions as well, I can say most of them are drawback compared with the old ones, especially Scarlet, it was like some trippy color with blurred surrounding but now its just some red color channel enhanced. Disappointed.

Im not updating to this new version, I like the previous version too much and dont want to lose it. Why not make this version a separate app since the UI and filters are both different, such as ClassicInsta2? I personally would be interested to download it as a separate app, but definitely not as a replacement. Original review: This is my favorite instant camera so far. Favorite filters are Modern and Toycamera. Love the high-res and ability to import from album. Please consider the following updates: 1- Ability to reframe pic within border so that we control how the pic is cropped. 2- Ability to save original when taking pic. 3- Ability to switch cartridges fast without swiping through each. Thanks!! I have all your apps, they are all first rate 

The new UI update makes this app nothing special. Its just another camera app with filters. The old UI was so pleasing and fun to use. There are some developers who just dont get it. The experience, the fun of an app is just as important as the functions and features. Now, in order to keep the app at its old UI, I can no longer choose UPDATE ALL. Now I have to go through and click install, one by one, for every update. Very inconvenient and its all this devs fault. I agree with some who say release this version as a Classicinsta2. Its just sad and boring now.

The update did indicate that the UI would be different but also that the filters were improved. I find that the filters are now not as good, particularly the rainbow filter, which has declined in quality quite dramatically. I really wish I could go back to the old version. This app is so slow to switch between filters. It needs to allow selection much faster, and also to use the old version of the filters.

I LOVED this app when I first downloaded it, and now, like all the other reviewers, I think it stinks. I dont mind the UI, though the original was better, but the changes to the filters are extremely disappointing. The rainbow filter was quite subtle and fun now its heavy-handed and ridiculous. There was a "Color Blast" filter that was also subtle and interesting, that doesnt exist anymore. Bring back the old filters, the new ones are icky.

A great, fun app has been ruined by the latest update. Too bad.

Want the old version back

The old version, in which it looked like an old camera and vibrated when the picture was developed mimicking a polaroid camera was amazing. It was my fave photo app. Now, it is just another lame take off on instagram. Please change it back, or Ill have to delete this once wonderful app.

As I said in the heading "I love it!" I tried the free version and the paid version is even better!! I have been playing with it for the last three days : ) Up-date: still like it... Dont know why there is so many complaints?

I cant compare this version to the old interface, but it does what it sets out to do. It offers some flexibility that other hip apps do not have - although less alternatives as well. Not flashy or hip. But insta. If the display replicated the camera that is chosen when taking a picture or allowed you to switch between cameras when editing existing photos, it could truly be classic. And I note other reviews that mourn the change in the UI.
